Linear compensator is designed to direct the gas on a forward direction, away from the shooter.
It's architecture has been improved from the classic layout of the linear compensator.
As a result, the six side holes are no longer parallel with the bullet hole, but at a slight angle for a swirl effect.
Also, the front end of the compensator is optimized to increase the effect of bullet stabilizing.
The outside diameter is .920" at the rear there are 2 flats for wrench for easy installation.
All Nano Linear Compensators are 1.5" long.
Precision machined 4140 HTSR steel.
Nitride treated and finished in black cerakote.
1/2x28 threaded.
Comes with crush washer.
Made in Canada.

Nano Linear Compensator 9mm
I was a bit skeptical that this device would do much on my Ruger carbine in 9mm. The first test at the range was an eye opener for sure. The first few shots were not much more 'controllable' - as the 9mm does not kick much, but the sound was different. My ears noticed quite a reduction in noise/blast at my head. It was quieter my a noticeable amount. I had brought the A2 birdcage with me that used to be on the rifle. It was a GI part that I had opened to 10mm with a drill. I put it back on and heard more noise than with the linear compensator. Needless to say the nano comp went back on the Ruger carbine and the birdcage is looking for a new home. I also note that the nano comp is well finished, the threads were great and the packaging contained a new crush washer. I am very happy with my S&J nano linear compensator. .
